The Cure Announce New Live Album, ‘Songs of a Live World’
December 2, 2024
Groove Armada share the story behind their seminal hit ‘Superstylin’, the first single from their 2001 album ‘Goodbye Country (Hello Nightclub)’.
23 years on from its release, Andy Cato and Tom Findlay discuss how the track’s now-iconic vocal – performed by MC M.A.D. – happened spontaneously when he joined them live on stage at fabric, prompting the trio to head to the studio together. After many months of long studio sessions, they emerged with their biggest hit, which they soon took to Top of the Pops, Glastonbury and beyond.
