RoEx — the AI mixing and mastering platform — has announced a new integration with Ableton Live.

The latest addition allows users to upload stems, have RoEx’s AI mixing algorithms suggest mix settings, and download the Ableton project with EQ, compression, reverb, levels, and other settings already in place via Ableton’s stock plugins.

This allows producers to automate a basic mix before adding their own personal techniques, plugins and sonic character. Users of Bitwig Studio and PreSonus Studio One can also download their project files and open the suggested mix via the new DAWProject file format. 

RoEx’s Automix feature uses human-trained AI algorithms to attempt to deliver a cohesive and balanced mix. Initial settings that AutoMix adjusts include volume, pan, reverb settings, EQ and compression. Producers are then free to change the settings that Automix suggests once they open the session in Ableton. 

Speaking about the new addition, RoEx CEO David Ronan, said, “Our integration with Ableton Live marks a significant step toward making professional-grade music production accessible to all. Automix provides a starting point that reflects each artist’s unique sound, while the export feature allows them to build on that foundation with full creative freedom.”
