Demae continues her journey with new song ‘Ain’t Easy’.

The vocalist has been on our radar for a while now, since her early work with key London collective Touching Bass. Now part of FAMM Limited, Demae shared her excellent EP ‘Deliver Me’ last year, a fusion of warm hip-hop production, alt-soul, and beyond.

Leaning into her vocal prowess, new single ‘Ain’t Easy’ is another chapter in her story. Speaking from the heart, Demae is able to make simple truths sound profound, adding a fresh layer to sounds in order to make them truly her own.

‘Ain’t Easy’ is about navigating the complexities of love and growth. It’s reflective but hopeful, which is why I wanted the visualiser to feel so atmospheric and dreamlike. It’s a glimpse into the emotional journey that inspired the song.”
