Daft Punk have collaborated with streetwear brand PLEASURES on a new clothing collection and pop-up store.
The link-up was teased via an Instagram post shared on the LA-based brand’s site last Wednesday (22nd January). PLEASURES will take over a store at Le Archives in Paris.
“Daft Punk is regarded as one of the most influential acts in music history,” the post read. “PLEASURES has worked with the iconic duo on a special collection featuring ready to wear, home goods, objects and ephemera.”
No further details of the collection have been shared as yet but it is due to drop later this year, according to PLEASURES co-founder Alex James.
Daft Punk, aka Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, officially split up four years ago, but its members have continued to put out various projects and releases ever since. Bangalter has been busy creating soundtracks for dance performances, orchestral scores for ballets, and much more.
In 2024, it was also revealed that the French artist had been working on the new album by ex-Kraftwerk member Wolfgang Flür, alongside Juan Atkins and New Order’s Peter Hook.
In December, Daft Punk screened their anime film Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem in cinemas globally for one night only.
Last February, Madame Tussauds New York displayed Daft Punk wax figures and held a French house tribute party with the robotic likenesses to mark the tenth anniversary of ‘Random Access Memories’.
