Manchester native Alex Ko shines on new EP ‘Sentiments’.

Out now, the EP has been trailed by a series of singles, mapping out his nexus of pop, soul, and R& influences. Infusing classic tropes with a fresh appeal, there’s a diaristic aspect to the way Alex Ko constructs his lyrics.

Songwriting rooted in his personal experiences, ‘Sentiments’ blends six tracks, offering six perspectives on his lived reality.

Potent and inviting, the EP moves from ‘Weapons Down’ to ‘Powerful’, each displaying his astute creativity.

 “I’ve lived each song’, The concept for the EP was channelled into every aspect, nuance and recording session, where I focussed on creating intimate but understatedly epic soundscapes. Most importantly, I wanted it to be emotive and authentic. I hope people feel like they’re in the room with me when they’re listening, because the experience of creating ‘Sentiments’ has been like creating a diary.”
