Underground duo Witch Post have shared plans for their debut EP ‘Beast’.

The duo – Alaska Reid and Dylan Fraser – are essentially a trans-Atlantic project, sharing ideas when time lines overlap. Now located in London, debut single ‘Chill Out’ made a deep impression on its release last year.

Indie rock viewed from an askew angle, it blended their passion for melody with some distorted ideas, immediately stamping out their own vital mythology.

Follow-up ‘Rust’ continued their path, with Witch Post now set to share their debut EP ‘Beast’ on April 16th.

New single ‘Dreaming’ is a pin-prick in the night sky, a small tear allowing the illumination to pour forth. Pieced together side-by-side, it is marked by the intense creativity that frames Witch Post as a project.

The duo comment…

“We walk along the Thames. Dark water reflecting a full moon. We have a pint on the roof of a pub. The wind is icy but it’s tough to care when we can feel something bubbling below the surface, a secret of some kind. Fast forward to this year and we’re lying in the snow two miles away from the Yellowstone River. She stares down the North Star and he grits his teeth. Everything is quiet for a moment.”
