Carl Cox is celebrating the new year by sharing 10 of his favorite remixes from three decades. 

The UK legend revisited key and classic edits in his discography released from 1992 to 2019 in an Instagram post in the lead-up to New Year’s Eve 2024. Alongside the selections, Cox shared facts, context and other notes about the tracks. 

Second on the chronological list is ‘RAW (Carl Cox Mix)’, released on OTT in 1993. “I used to either play this as the first track of the night or the last”, Cox wrote. “You really knew where the night was heading depending where this dropped”. 

One of Carl Cox’s two 2019 picks was his remix of ‘Treaty’ by Yothu Yindi and Gavin Campbell. “It was an absolute pleasure and honor to be invited to work on this already incredible track”, Cox said.

Another recently revisited highlight from Cox’s storied career is this 20-year-old footage of him DJing with Kevin Saunderson in 2004. The two veterans were going back-to-back at one of the Carl Cox and Friends parties at Ahoy in Rotterdam. 

In 2024, Carl Cox remixed HoneyLuv and Roland Clark’s ‘This Is My Life’, and released the single ‘ICE‘. He also released an album mix of tracks from his Awesome Soundwave label in April. 

Coming up this year, Cox will be debuting a new live show called Evolution as his headline set at Ultra Miami 2025.
