Emerging London force green star have shared new single ‘replication’.

The band have sparked a real buzz in the metropolis, playing key shows in and around London over the past 12 months. Debut single ‘blades of steel’ made a big impression, fusing together their nascent noise rock tendencies with layers of shoegaze audio.

‘replication’ continues their rise – at times feral in its approach, there’s also a beauty to the way the sonics are treated.

At its core, ‘replication’ is an unhinged pop song, allowing green star to work with real intention.

“Sometimes, the hardest closures are the ones that feel like they’re constantly repeating themselves, where nothing changes and everything stays the same, yet you’re left searching for something that can make it all worth it. This concept is represented in a gloomy, dreamlike atmosphere combined with a sense of mundanity in the lyrics.”
