Michael Bibi is bringing his One Life show back to London this year to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
The British DJ and producer, who was diagnosed with central nervous system (CNS) lymphoma in summer 2023 and given the “all clear” by spring 2024, will keep his comeback One Life world tour of 2024 going with another capital city concert. This year, the Solid Grooves founder will host One Life London at Broadwick Live’s 20,000-capacity open-air industrial venue Silverworks Island at the Royal Docks in east London on 5th July. Once again, a percentage of all profits from tickets and merch will go to the The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity this year.
“I’m excited about the evolution of One Life”, Bibi said in a press statement, “people coming together and helping others through music”.
After last July’s Finsbury Park One Life show (where Bibi brought his parents on stage), Bibi donated £120,000 to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and encouraged festival goers to join the stem cell register. “Today I visited the Royal Marsden for my regular check-ups and to present the staff with the money we raised from the One Life show at Finsbury Park”, he wrote on Instagram at the time. “To everyone who was part of this show, thank you for making this possible. Through dancing, we’ve directly helped others like myself and contributed to saving more lives. My heart is full, thank you.”
The 2024 line-up featured Chloé Caillet, Dixon, Enzo Sirugusa and Salomé Le Chat. Further details about the 2025 programme are still to be announced.
