Nixo Fortune has bounced back with a brand new EP titled ‘As of late : Volume 2.’

Flexing his visceral rap flows, the South Carolina native ramps up the energy with his latest offering. Laid over nostalgic samples, rambunctious basslines and grooves, the rhymer illustrates the peaks and troughs of the past year. Take ‘motion picture’, a celebratory hard-hitter that chases escapism, whereas ’Mr. Make It Happen’ speaks to the riser’s boundless work ethic.

Looking towards the work of Young Thug, Lil Wayne and Kanye West, Nixo Fortune leans into the classic tropes of rap, sprinkling elements of soul, R&B and jazz throuhgout. As he gears up towards a new phase in his trajectory, the artist continues to elevate his craft with each studio session.

Speaking on the project, Fortune expands: : “This year marked a lot of growth for me in many areas of my life. My intent with As of late : Volume 2 was to produce songs that I felt encapsulated the many emotions I went through in 2024.” He continues, “Every song represents a turning point during this year, and I’m excited to discover which tracks resonate with listeners the most.”
