Fast-rising producer Omar+ teams up with fellow dance music savant piri on new single, ‘Body Language’.

A juiced-up, hard-nosed club excursion ‘Body Language’ is a next-gen hybrid, interweaving Omar’s affected sermons with Piri’s (of piri & tommy) lithe coos during its breathless runtime. The new single follows Omar’s early releases ‘Lights’, ‘AfterParty’ alongside GEE LEE, ‘Namerkana 2.0’ and recent number,‘Back Of The Club’.

Omar came up on the classic RnB of Brandy and SWV, taking cues from the freakish world-building of Tim Burton, whilst leaning into Punjabi and Gujarati heritage to aid his borderless electronic experiments. Omar’s releases coast along the dance music continuum; from the peak-time grooves of Chris Stussy, the angular beats of producers like KETTAMA and Effy, and the genre-blurring alchemy of artists like Pinkpantheress and Riovaz.

His DIY house party series, Planet Plus, has seen Omar DJ in basements, kitchens and bedrooms across London, helping him grow a community of eager fans who feel connected to both his music and his journey. Away from music, Omar also models regularly. Featuring in a recent UK-wide JD Sports campaign, as well as walking at London Fashion Week in 2023, he also supported Mahalia at an ASOS campaign launch event in London this past October.
