Planet Mu is throwing a 30th-anniversary party at London’s Corsica Studios.
Luke Vibert, Slikback, Nik Colk Void, BAE BAE, Meemo Comma and label founder µ-Ziq are among the artists performing at the seven-hour birthday bash, which takes place on 3rd May from 11PM to 6AM.
Also on the bill are label affiliates Rian Treanor & Cara Tolmie, Boxcutter, Ital Tek, Xylitol and Saint Abdullah & Eomac.
“With a varied line-up featuring artists from Planet Mu’s past, present, and future, this is more than just a party—it’s a musical pilgrimage for fans and newcomers alike. This night is going to be one for the books, and it’s not to be missed,” reads the RA event listing.
There will also be an exclusive 30th-anniversary collection of hats, sweatshirts, hoodies and trousers.
You can pick up tickets for the party here.
Set up by Mike Paradinas in 1995, Planet Mu is a mainstay for forward-thinking electronic music around the world. In 2024, the label put out music by Chicago footwork figurehead Traxman — marking his first full-length release with the UK label in a decade — and Jlin, whose ‘Akoma’ LP features Philip Glass, Björk, and Kronos Quartet, and was named one of our favourites of the year.
Other Planet Mu releases include works by Jana Rush, Bogdan Raczynski, Gábor Lázár, DJ Girl, and much, much more.
