Portishead’s Beth Gibbons has announced her first ever North American solo shows in support of her debut solo album. 

The musician will perform at venues in New York City, Boston, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, Denver, and Toronto. The tour, which runs from late-March until mid-April, also includes two dates at Coachella, playing both the festival’s weekends. 

‘Lives Outgrown’, Gibbons’ first LP released under her own name, landed on Domino Records last year. The album included the singles ‘Foating On A Moment and ‘Reaching Out’. The latter was accompanied by a video directed by Aphex Twin, Arca, and Houghton Festival collaborator Wierdcore. Its arrival was marked by European tour dates last May.
