Rae Mulla has shared his new single ‘Breathe’.
The Mumbai figure is leading the way, a multi-talented figure who is exploring different lanes. Making his debut in 2020, his jet-propelled hip-hop fixation blends different production styles to forge something fresh.
Recently sharing stages with the likes of Rajesh Pratap Singh and Talwiinder, his bold creative vision is laden with colour and finesse.
2025 promises much for the Mumbai figure, a rapper, director, and designer who is busy constructing his own realm.
Out now, new single ‘Breathe’ was built alongside studio figure chrms, and it’s packed with flavour – an exuberant burst of hip-hop creativity, it’s self-dubbed as a “fever dream” by Rae Mulla himself.
Reminiscent of Tyler, the Creator’s more direct moments, you can also locate aspects of Travis Scott’s DNA in the studio work.
Rae Mulla comments…
More than just a song, ‘Breathe’ is an episode, a fever dream, a moment where mania meets music and explodes into something primal. I wanted it to feel like spiralling out of control but in the most intentional way possible.
When we were building the track, we stripped away the excess. No unnecessary melodies, no distractions. Just the raw kick and sub, menacing and urgent. The hook is like the breath you take before plunging back into the chaos. A moment of detachment. Like you’re gasping for air while drowning in your own momentum.
This song lives in that space where the line between confidence and chaos blurs. It’s like you’re in a club, the bass is rattling your ribs, and suddenly you forget where you are. Your head is pounding, your pulse is racing, and you don’t know if you need to sit down or scream – or both…That’s ‘Breathe’.
Tune in now.
