salute has dropped a remix of Ewan McVicar’s ‘Heather Park’.

The Vienna-born, Manchester-based DJ and producer uploaded the remix to various streaming services, accompanied by a note on Instagram. “A few years ago I made a little edit of the boy ewan’s ‘heather park’ anthem – it took on a life of its own, and as a thank you for the incredible love and support you’ve thrown my way as a result, you can finally stream it everywhere. endless love to the main man @ewanmcvicar_, play it loud,” they wrote.

At the end of last year, salute teamed up with Jessie Ware for new single ‘Heaven In Your Arms‘. 2024 also saw the release of their debut album, ‘TRUE MAGIC,’ which came out on Ninja Tune and featured the likes of Disclosure, Rina Sawayama, Karma Kid, Sam Gellaitry, piri, Léa Sen and more.

Named after the street he grew up on, the ‘Heather Park’ EP was originally released by McVicar in 2022 as his debut for Ninja Tune sub-label Technicolour. McVicar was nominated in the Breakthrough DJ category at DJ Mag’s Best of British Artists in 2020, and picked up DJ Mag’s Best of British Track of the Year for ‘Tell Me Something Good’ in 2021.
