An introspective collection of tracks from the Brooklyn-based musician…
06 · 12 · 2024
Tyrin has bounced back with his latest EP, ‘Blue Hour’.
A revelatory offering from the Brooklyn-born artist, each track illustrates the pang and eventual growth from heartache. Celebrating his early affinity with indie acoustics and generational hip-hop records, the project fuses together gritty melodies with a slick, auto-tuned delivery.
Formulated over four years, a pivotal period for Tyrin, ‘Blue Hour’ sees the artist piece together some of his most emotionally connected work yet. Speaking on this time, the artist shares: “I went through a lot personally, and music was always the easiest way for me to express myself.” Working closely with his band, the 6-track project takes a pop-punk approach to struggle, veering towards new and unexpected directions throughout.
Reaching into the core of his latest work, Tyrin concludes on: “the moment of reflection after heartbreak when you pick up the pieces and push forward.”
Tune in now.
